Your Final Gift for Children

Spencer Jackson, Director of Planned Giving

Spence JacksonBiblical stewardship is a lifelong responsibility. Parents usually think of leaving an inheritance to their children, but let us also consider the millions of children all over the world who are orphaned and live in poverty. The careful and purposeful planning of your estate will provide for world missions through ABWE, including reaching these young ones. Several options are available.

Your Will

You can name ABWE as one of the beneficiaries in your will or trust.

The Gift Annuity

A Gift Annuity agreement will provide you with a lifetime, partially taxed income at very attractive rates. When you and your spouse go to be with the Lord, money from your gift will go to ABWE.

The Charitable Remainder Trust

Do you have appreciated stocks or real estate? You can give these assets to ABWE and we will sell them, thereby escaping the capital gains tax. Lifetime income will be sent to you (or you and your spouse) and, upon your death, the remainder of the gift will stay with ABWE.  Like the Gift Annuity, you receive a charitable deduction for your gift.

Your financial planning can provide for children around the world who need provisions for their basic needs as well as an opportunity to hear about the love of Jesus Christ. Would you pray about how God can use you to make a final gift for reaching children?
