In Luke chapter ten, a Samaritan man took pity on a wounded man. He had compassion and he responded with hands-on help and financial giving. This same thing happens over and over in mission work. As people’s hearts are moved by the worldwide spiritual and physical needs of mankind, they give to support the missionaries who reach people with the gospel. Out of your heart for missions, have you considered some additional ways of giving? Did you know that you can give and also receive back? Do you have some appreciated stocks or real estate that you could give to ABWE in exchange for the promise of receiving lifetime income?
Would you be willing to make a cash gift and depending on your age, receive lifetime income as high as 11.3 percent in return? This is possible through the Charitable Remainder Trust and the Gift Annuity. With these agreements you are entitled to a charitable deduction for your use in lowering your income taxes. The most important benefit is that upon your death, money will be available to help world missions through ABWE. Genuine compassion for reaching the lost for Christ will always dictate a response.
